The second-hand marketplace Members Voice Displeasure About Sizing Updates
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has revised its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes but did not contact all users about the change.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show a different size category compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the revised method more closely matches similar services.
The platform has recommended to review their products and update the measurements by hand if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Modifications
Previously, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Experiences
Frankie Bridger, who produces content about larger sizing, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed by the change as she had to manually change the sizing for "all her products".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial following partial earnings loss," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The app has more than 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices due to shopper criticism.
